Based in Essex, Bespoke Caterers was founded in 2002 by two local chefs with over 38 years experience between them. Both James Oxley and Glyn Wiltshire have prepared and cooked food at some of Europe’s finest restaurants, hotels, corporate and outside catering events.

Bespoke Caterers combines its love of food, wine and excellent service with years of practice to provide a first class dining experience at any special event.

In just six years Bespoke Caterers has become one of the leading event catering companies in Essex and East Anglia and has already won two “Colchester District Growing Business of the Year Awards” as well as hearty thanks, praise and congratulations from a growing list of very satisfied customers.

We’ve recently moved in to purpose-built new premises at Gorse Lane so that we are now perfectly positioned to offer our service to events in Colchester, Essex and beyond.

Our growing reputation for excellence has not gone unnoticed and we have become a ‘Catering Partner’ to ‘The Venue’ at Colchester Town Hall – a beautiful historic wedding or function site. Plus, we have links with Colchester Castle, Clacton Town Hall and many other hireable venues.

The service we offer is incredibly flexible and we’ll arrange a package, specifically catered to your needs and budget – Whether it’s a once in a lifetime wedding, an important business lunch or surprise birthday buffet, our ethos is based on exactly what our name implies “made precisely to the customers own requirements”.

In Claire and Hannah we have a dedicated team of experienced event planners. Relax whilst they help you organise your event from start to finish; they can arrange one-to-one meetings with the chef, no obligation quotes and food or wine tastings as well as taking care of some of the finer details that the day requires.
